Food, food, wonderful food!

I must redeem myself to Melissa over at Stretch Marks. Let me tell you what my mom cooked this past weekend while she was here visiting the baby. On a side note, we don't get visitors anymore, but Kelton has plenty of them! Typical conversation as folks come through the front door..."Oh, hiiiiiii! It's sooooo good to see y-....OH LOOK! There's the BABEEEEEE!!! Well, hellooooo little fella!" And so our child basks in the glowing adorations of others.

Back to the topic...Below are the yummy dishes enjoyed while Mom was here...

Delectable 1 - Mom made Martha Stewart's chicken parmigiana...

Delectable 2 - Mom made homemade chicken enchiladas with lots and lots of wonderful yellow cheese...

Delectable 3 - Mom made Paula Deen's Chocolate Mousse Cake. I ate it...I ate it with reckless abandon...I ate it off my plate and then off Hubby's plate and then I ate it right off the cake plate. I ate cake and mousse and hollowed out places underneath the doubled recipe of chocolate frosting. Then I savored the chocolate frosting as it melted into a luscious chocolate mess in my mouth. Couldn't find a picture of the cake by itself, but we all need a little dose of Paula Deen, don't we? Here it is on the cover of her magazine...

THAT's why I'm drinking this for breakfast this week...

Redemption. Sweet redemption.

Show me a picture of cheese fries, and all will be forgiven.

Thanks for stopping by! Nice to "meet" you. :)

What if you made your own upholstered headboard. I think that could say "cozy". You could use your current headboard as the frame.

Here are some decent pictures and instructions...

Can I borrow your mom? Would she cook for me?
