Kelton eating lunch with his great-grandmother
And peeking over his grandmama's shoulder
My little trooper has a case of strep and is perservering through antibiotics. He enlightened me yesterday as to what penicillin does to baby poo. You know, I really could have gone my whole life without that knowledge and not suffered for it. As it started filling the diaper and then overflowing onto the changing pad, my frantic calls for help escalated in volume and Neal's footsteps quickened pace. This mess required four hands - kind of like a 3 alarm fire where they keep calling out the firetrucks. And we pretty much needed a fire hose to wash him down with afterwards. He also threw a bonafide fit yesterday. It made me laugh! He was crying and fussing and then started kicking those little legs and feet, and I couldn't help myself! I'm sure that won't be as funny when he's four years old and we're in the middle of Wal-Mart, but I can enjoy it now as seeing part of his personality expressing itself.

I love that first picture - totally classic and a wonderful memory you were able to capture.
