Dreams

My husband is usually a pretty uneventful sleeper. He may snore occasionally but a good whack on the chest or the leg and he'll roll over and be quiet. He has talked in his sleep on occassion, one time I heard him use some foul language and was really giving someone the what-for. I snickered and went back to sleep and taunted him about it the next day. Last night, however, was a new one. He was running in bed...legs just a pumping...and I got kicked awake. Before I could scootch over anymore, I got an elbow to the head and yelled, "OW!". That woke him up. He's muffled a "sorry" and then settled back down apparently much more asleep than awake but at least the dreams had been abated. I asked him this morning what was up with the dream (after he apologized a gazillion times for the wonk on the head). He was running from a naked gorilla that had chased him into a tree house. Uh huh. Think we've been watching too many episodes of LOST on the dvr??

I have some new pictures of our little guy that I'm going to try and download from the camera over the weekend. I haven't had my voice for the past two days...at least I'm audible today. Virus shmirus. And why am I gaining weight when I don't even eat that much because I can't breathe when I chew??

And I now delve into Facebook...after talking about how stupid it is for the past few days, I finally reached out and tagged a few folks from back home that I haven't seen in 10 years. And now I'm hooked on checking the stupid thing to see if anyone has written on my wall. Dammm. Like I needed another e-hobby. I don't know how much I'll stay "in" to Facebook...I enjoy my blog more. This is my creative outlet...sometimes...when I'm creatively wired and not worn down from a cold and a child whose new wake-up time is 4:55AM.
