31 days

31 days...that's all it took of 2009 before I got sick. I hate this being sick stuff and it's all daycare's fault! I went to see the doctor yesterday and he said that I just have a virus...a glorified frigging cold. He did say that studies have been done and that the average infant in daycare brings home at least 7 different viruses a year that infect the family. I think we hit that milestone after 4 months in daycare. Greeeaaat. He also reassured me that he sees dozens of new moms that get illness after illness that first year and wonder if there's something with them or their immune system. There's nothing wrong - it's just part of the whole adjusting thing.

Anyways, this really puts a crimp in my exercise plans. How frustrating.

I'm feeling the twinge of sickness myself. That comes from playing football on Super Bowl Sunday in cold winds.

I'm an idiot.

But I can't sick because I'm too important (read: I have too much crap to do because I suck at time management).

Nothing like statistics to marginalize your suffering.

I hope you get well quickly.

Yuck! I fully understand how being sick puts a crimp in the exercise plans. And let me tell you, it's even harder when you start back again. Hope you're on the mend soon!
