My header explained

I thought I'd tell what the pics are in my blog header. I'm grasping for blogging material. Writer's block must be contagious, even over the internet. I place the blame for that here.

Working from left to right - (because I'm analytical and anal about that kind of stuff)

  • Our wedding day in 2005. That dress was so tight I could hardly breathe. I was afraid it was going to fall off because I'd never worn anything strapless before so I had the seamstress take it in a little extra. That and the fact that the whole dieting before the wedding plan didn't exactly pan out.

  • Up and to the right - Our little guy around 3 months old. I had bought that hat for him and it was my first week back to work. I hated leaving him at daycare. He only stayed at that particular daycare that one week before we pulled him out.

  • Below - Me in December of 2007 on my grandparents' place. Hubby had rattled a buck up for me. I was watching him through the scope and said, "What do you think?" He said, "I think he looks goo-" BOOM! Dead deer. Happy me.

  • Next picture - Hubby and me after a very frigging cold morning of goose hunting.

  • Next - Hubby and me Christmas at our house December 2007.

  • Far right - Kelton around 4 months old (back in late March or early April).

  • Bottom pic - geese flying in over the water from our hunting trip.

Now you know...

Hey now...you can't go blaming me. I'm trying :(

You can shoot deer, but can you skin them...that's the question. Best part about living so close to my in-laws is that my FIL will drop one in the field and another on the way back in and he calls me to tell me to go find the first in almost shoulder high grass.

I find it when I trip.

Not really on the tripping thing.

You are right about the writer's block....

Yes, I can skin a deer...I can field dress it, too. I'm also pretty handy when it comes down to meat packaging. I learned all of that growing up. And Hubby l-o-v-e-s that we hunt together. Our first date was shooting sporting clays!

Chris, you need a hound dog to find those deer for you!

The pictures of your little guy are soooo sweet! And I love the wedding photo, too.
