Our little boy can walk! He took his first steps on his own here at home for us to see on October 15th! Absolutely cool! We now have a new exercise routine. It's called "catch the baby". You stoop halfway over with your arms outstretched on either side of your child and then waddle around behind them ready to catch them the minute they seem to fall. It's really fun and your back and hamstrings will let you know how much they appreciate this new exercise within 24 hours.
Watch out, world, my baby is mobile!!!

Congrats!! That's so exciting. I loveee when babies first start walking. It is adorable!
YAY! Congratulations...and world watch out!!
Congrats! It sounds like you are learning all about just what a toddler in the house means. Good Luck!
Wait, so how old is this little dude?
I need to know so I can figure out when to expect my niece to start moving vertically.

PS - Now get the boy a football and teach him how to stiff arm.
He's 10.5 months old. As far as the football thing goes, he's got the stuff for a linebacker. He pile drives in to us all the time. If you're laying on the floor, he practically screams "BONSAI!" and jumps in the middle of you.
Go little man!
Just wait....exercise is chasing him around and shooing him from all the no-no places!
