One of my favorite shortcuts for the past few months has been getting up in the morning with my half-curly half-frizzy hair, putting it in a big loose bun, and then throwing a couple of these evil things around my head to hold down all of my little wanna be bang whispies. You have to really stretch these suckers out before you use one or else you'll find yourself wondering why you feel lightheaded and have a headache around 2:00 in the afternoon. Well, guess what?! That handy rubbery stuff that keeps them from slipping off your head...it pulls out your hair! And when you wear these several times a week, all day, for a few months, you look in the mirror one morning and realize you've got a little BALD line on your scalp!!! I keep thinking positive thoughts that my hair will grow back. Anyone had any experience like this? Did your hair grow back?

I did something like that with rubber bands a few months after Michael was born. Part of it was the post partum hair loss thing, but then one day I realized I had a bald spot near my left temple. The good news is that, yes, it did grow back in. The bad news is that you will have short hairs sticking out of the area for a few months while it grows in enough to control.
I have some like that but they never pull my hair out...I want to say they are the same brand, but maybe not. I've also had them for a while,so maybe they've changed? I'd say give your scalp some rest from them and don't be afraid to give yourself a scalp massage to stimulate growth!
