I want O-U-T!
Out of town, that is! This Fourth of July holiday weekend marks exactly ONE YEAR since the last time I left the Metroplex. Can you believe that?? I was in my second trimester at this time last year (blisffully ignorant of what lay ahead of me), and travel was just starting to get a little cumbersome. I had terrible circulation during my pregnancy and then motion sickness set in. Then came the c-section and the baby...then the recovery...then coming back to work. Wow...am I ready to get past the loop and head OUT. We're trying to figure out where to go since this will also be little one's first road trip.

I hear ya. The only way I'd be going out of town at this point would be if it was kid free. I've had enough of road trip adventures with kids in tow lately.
I thought about heading down to the shore (New Jersey Beaches) for the weekend, but the last thing I want to do is sit in hours of beach traffic with a two year old. Sand table, here we come.
We are just hanging around..going swimming and probably popping fireworks...where are ya'll going?
