Ramblings

Long time no post! I got sucked in by Facebook. And now I'm being fickle and leaning more towards Blogger. Not that I would totally abandon my cute little farm in Farmville...I could never do that. Or give up my role as bella mafia in Mafia Wars, either. Nooooo, Facebook has me by the hair on those two. What did I do with my time before that? Oh yeah...I put up laundry.

K-man is 23 months old now. We saw a new pediatric allergist two weeks ago to get an update on his allergies. His blood draw was two days ago, so we should have some results next week. I do think that he's growing out of some of his allergies. We don't see near the number of incidences of eczema on him as we used to. He ate McDonald's french fries yesterday with NO reactions! YAY! And now I'm working on a cake recipe for his 2 year birthday cake. I think we can come up with something that tastes decent. I'm not worried about what he'll think about it since I highly doubt he'll even touch it. Hubster and I will take him to Party City this weekend and see what cartoon character ellicits the best response out of him. I'm guessing either Pablo from the Backyardigans or Blue from Blue's Clues (pronounced Coo-Coo's).

Then we'll need to do some gift shopping for him for his birthday and for Christmas. Trying not to go overkill on it but he does need a serious overhaul on his toy collection...it's all from over a year ago. His favorites right now are the LeapFrog phonics alphabet fridge set. And he's getting pretty good at singing his ABC's. He also loves building with his blocks (aka Legos). I'm not sure what all to get him for gifts. I'm thinking a big honking dump truck or firetruck to push around. Maybe a little basketball goal that I think Daddeeee will play with more than babeeee.

Did I say that my baby is turning two in less than a month? My baby. My toddler. My boy. My little man. I don't want to be pregnant again but I'm wanting another baby. This is going too fast!!
